Riviera songs on The Cleaner

Riviera on Film & TV

It's been quite a while since we've posted any news but two Riviera songs will be prominently featured on the July 28th episode of The Cleaner on A&E. We licensed the songs last month and the show is now on the schedule. Set your TiVo! The two songs are "Friends in California" and "Golden Lies" and are available for sale via iTunes, Amazon, and any other digital or online store. CDs still available too!

Don't cry, we still love you.

None More Live

Friends, after 6 years and countless shows far and wide, it is with mixed feelings that we tell you that Riviera will no longer be playing live shows. We've had great times traveling the country meeting many of you and playing with other bands we admire and respect. From opening for Jeff Tweedy at the Vic in Chicago, to opening for Jay Farrar in Des Moines. From the CD releases and GLONO shows with our labelmates Quasar Wut Wut, to getting run out of town after Mick unplugged the gear of a particularly bad comedy-musical group.it's been a blast. But all good things must come to an end and interest in our live shows has waned. It's no longer financially feasible nor emotionally rewarding to lug our asses (not to mention our gear) from club to club in the hopes that 20 people show up. We do have a batch of new material that we love and will record in the coming months for a web-only release. After that, who knows.?

Riviera Returns with Live Show

Riviera is back from a three month hiatus with a headlining show at the Subterranean. Also on the bill: City Electric, American mars, and A Wise Child.
